A claim form and estimate was sent to an insurer on the 20th November, for a client’s stolen bike. Two days later the insurer asked how the client would like to receive settlement and today, the 24th November, the cheque arrives!!
On several occasions recently, I have had to remind clients of the need to notify claims as soon as they are known about.
