So we wake up this morning to another Travel Operator having gone bust.
Kiss Flights have gone under as a result of intense competition and the public's desire for cheap holidays. The ultimate result of this can only end in tears. It reminds me so much of the motor insurance market with the challenge for providers to provide ever cheaper rates to compete as price is king. Eventually, surely, we are going to Kiss goodbye to one or more of these insurers.
There has been upward movement in the last year of motor rates, but rest assured the scrap for market share will return and you need to make sure that you are not left stranded with no insurance following the demise of your insurer.
Take professional advice and understand that cheap is very rarely cheerful.
